Day – 1 Colombo–Sigiriya

Arrive in Sri Lanka. You will be warmly greeted by a representative with a traditional Sri Lankan welcome and transferred to Sigiriya.

Evening visit to Sigiriya.
Sigiriya – is home to the 5th Century “Fortress in the Sky” which is perhaps the most fantastic single wonder of the Island. It is also known as Lion Rock because of the huge lion that used to stand at the entrance to the fortress. Within its triple-moated defence the huge rock rises almost to a sheer height of 500ft. on its summit are the foundation of what was once a great and sumptuous palace and gardens complete with swimming pools. On one of the stairway the only known ancient works of Sinhala secular painting survived in the form of Frescoes of life sized damsels in all the freshness and delicacy of their original colours.

Day – 2 Sgiriya – Polonnaruwa – Sigiriya

After breakfast proceed on a village tour with lunch and ride an Elephant.
Elephant Ride – A jungle trek on Elephant back is an adventurous experience. Accompanied by the Mahout – the Elephant handler, you set off for a ride of a lifetime along jungle paths and across shallow rivers. Do not miss the chance of lifetime; ride through the jungle on an Elephants back a whole different experience from the traditional transportation methods.

Village Tour – Village life in the countryside of Sri Lanka can be a truly fascinating experience. The homes in each village tend to be inhabited entire family generation. The Sri Lankan village exploration tour would give you the opportunity to pass some relaxing days in Sri Lankan countryside and to have some time off your hectic schedule. Eating simple village food in rustic surrounding has its own taste and you would surly enjoy it. 
After village lunch proceed to Polonnaruwa.

Polonnaruwa – is the second capital of Sri Lanka which lasted for about 200 years from about 1055 AD. But there is evidence that Polonnaruwa was a strategic point during Anurapura period. When large irrigation works commenced after king Vasaba some of the complexed irrigation networks and large tanks were constructed in Polonnaruwa area. The Kingdom of Polonnaruwa was completely self-sufficient during King Parakramabahu's reign. Polonnaruwa was also called as Jananathamangalam during the short Chola reign. Declared world heritage in 1982.
Visit to ParakramaSamudraya or the Sea of Parakrama, Parakramabahu Statue, Pothgul Viharaya, Palaces, Atadage, Hatadage, Watadage and Gal Viharaya.

Thereafter visit to Sri Lanka most popular Ayurveda (Herbal Treatment) and spa.
Overnight stay at Sigiriya.


Day – 3 Sigiriya – Dambulla – Kandy.

After breakfast proceed to Kandy en route visiting Dambulla Cave Temple, Batik Factory, Handicraft and a Spice garden in Matale. 
Dambulla – Dambulla is famous for the five cave Temples on a rock. The first 3 caves are better older and larger than the other 2. Some cave dates to 1st C.B.C. All the 5 caves walls and ceilings are covered with Buddhist murals and there are more than 130 Buddha statues, statues of Gods and Kings are also found here.

Batik Factory and Handicraft – Where you can see the manufacture of beautiful Batik prints and wood handicraft. The shop contains wide variety of Batik items.

Spice Garden – See the luscious Cinnamons, Cardamons, Pepper plants etc. You can also purchase your requirements of spices.

Kandy – The hill capital. Venue of the annual Perahera. The last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings was finally ceded to the British in 1815. Kandy is an example of the Buddhism’s influence in Sri Lank today. Temple’s shrines and monasteries keeping alive Buddhist traditions are everywhere.
Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic – ever since 4th Century A.D. when the Buddha’s Tooth was brought to Sri Lanka hidden from sacrilegious hands in an Orissa princess hair, the Relic has grown in repute and holiness in Sri Lanka and throughout the Buddhist world. It is considered Sri Lanka’s most prized possession.

Evening witness to Kandyan Cultural show.

Day – 4 Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast visit to gem museum proceed to Nuwara Eliya visiting a tea estates and factory en route and also visit to Ramboda falls.

NuwaraEliya – The “Little England” of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea plantations. It is supposed to be one of the coldest places on the island, but is really just like an England spring day although the temperature dose drops at night. All around Nuwara Eliya you will see evidences of the British influence. Houses are like country cottages or Queen Ann style mansions.

Overnight stay atNuwara Eliya.



Day – 5 NuwaraEliya – Bentota.

After breakfast proceed to Bentota.

En route enjoy white water rafting at Kitulgala.

Day – 6 Bentota.

After breakfast many interesting sightseeing tours are possible from here such as boat trip on Madu River and Turtle Hatchery etc. 
Bentota – Is the first National Holiday Resort developed by the Ceylon Tourist Board as a planned resort. There are 6 tourist hotels in the beach span of 5 miles with all the facilities a resort would require.
Water sport facilities are available as in the Beruwela Resort. 
Overnight stay at Bentota.




Day – 7 Bentota – Airport.
Transfer to airport to connect with the departure flight.
